How does a moment last forever?

Welcome this New Year with a post about the preciousness of any fleeting moment in life. We've talked about life and its grand scheme of defining purpose and pursuing happiness. Life is created from each moment we pass by, however small or big each event is. In the end, there are more memorable experiences than others; there are memories we can never consign into oblivion; there are core feelings that we can never forget having experienced them.
But reminiscing a moment cannot entirely reflect the intensity of experiencing it. There are moments we hope to carve into our hearts - then what makes the moment worth remembering and how to remember them vividly?
I always get a sense of nostalgia from the moment I'm experiencing at the time. I've always wondered when is the next time I get to experience this moment again. I think what makes a moment last forever is for us to actually live in it, experiencing the moment with all senses so we get as many inputs as possible to relive them.
I used to hate taking photos, only to realize they remind us that there were these events taking place that we might otherwise have forgotten. It makes more sense to capture those moments to relive how we were laughing, crying, or just numbing. The vividity of a moment depends on how much we've gathered, consciously and emotionally, of each experience.
Go out, make memories, take photos, experience with all senses. Happy New Year ~
